The Foundation for Economic Education supports research and education in business and economics that advance business renewal and sustainable economic growth.
In 2025, the Foundation awarded EUR 5.4 million in grants, particularly for doctoral research and postdoctoral research.
Thematic Special Project
The Foundation for Economic Education’s thematic special project Innovations, Commercialization and Growth (2024–2026) focuses on areas of particular importance to the development of Finland’s competitiveness.
At the core of the theme Innovations, Commercialization and Growth are value-based pricing, value creation, productization, as well as the processes of marketing and sales – central to developing the competitiveness of Finnish companies.
In developing the competitiveness of Finnish companies, commercialization is often linked to success in:
- scaling companies’ business operations, innovation management, manufacturing, services, and business concepts in international markets
- utilizing digital channels and concepts
- pricing and sales
The aim is for high-quality research to evolve into business that strengthens the position of Finnish companies in international markets.
