As Finland’s largest foundation supporting research and education in business and economics through grants, the Foundation for Economic Education seeks to strengthen the well-being of Finnish business and society.
The Foundation for Economic Education is administered by Liikesivistysrahaston Kannatusyhdistys ry, which determines the use of the Foundation’s funds. The association has approximately 900 individual members across 16 different regional committees.
The purpose of the regional committees is to promote the association’s activities and visibility in their respective regions, and to support the Foundation’s operations in membership and grant activities as well as fundraising. The voluntary work of the regional committees ensures close local connections with the business community and units engaged in business-related research and education.
