The Foundation for Economic Education uses an electronic reference system as part of its grant application process. The referee nominated by the applicant will receive an automated reference request together with instructions for submitting the reference.
References may be provided by one or more supervisors and may be written in either Finnish or English. All references must be submitted electronically via the link included in the reference request email.
The electronic reference system will open on 1 June 2026 and close on 31 August 2026 at 24:00 (UTC+3) i.e. two weeks after the call for grant applications 1 June – 15 August has closed.
To ensure the fair and consistent assessment of all applications, references submitted after the deadline or by email cannot be accepted.
