The grant sum covers 30,7 percent of the applied 10,8 million euro sum total. The greatest emphasis among the focus areas has been placed on digitalization facilitating business and economics, renewal of industries and organizations, and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation&#8217;s 4 million euro budget for 2018 supports mainly doctoral and post doctoral research, and includes the grant commitments to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postdocpooli.fi\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Foundations\u2019 Post Doc Pool<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.podoco.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Post Docs in Companies<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/tutkijatmaailmalle.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tutkijat maailmalle<\/a> -program. The foundation moreover supports the <a href=\"https:\/\/nuoriyrittajyys.fi\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nuori Yritt\u00e4jyys<\/a> programs teaching entrepreneurship, working skills and financial skills for 7 to 29-year-olds, as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/skolaraward.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skolar Award<\/a> pitching competition organized in affiliation with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slush.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Slush<\/a> for young ambitious post docs.<\/p>\n<p>The Foundation for Economic Education&#8217;s support for research and education has in recent years been exceptionally abundant.
