Are you planning a research visit to a university or research institution abroad? The joint Researchers Abroad grant call by KAUTE Foundation, the Foundation for Economic Education, Walter Ahlstr\u00f6m Foundation and Nokia Foundation for international research visits in business and technical sciences is open from March 1 to April 11, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The grant is primarily intended for a continuous research visit of 6 to 12 months at a foreign university or research institution. Individual grants can be up to EUR 50,000, and a total of EUR 450,000 will be awarded in this call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finland\u2019s competitiveness is built on international excellence, and we want to collaborate with other foundations to enable research visits that bring new perspectives, knowledge, and innovations to our country. For researchers, these visits are unique opportunities to network, deepen their expertise, and advance their careers in an international environment, says Johanna Linna<\/strong>, Secretary General of the Walter Ahlstr\u00f6m Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Since 2011, the program has awarded EUR 5.5 million in grants, funding international research visits for 262 researchers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2024, nearly EUR 420,000 in funding was granted to 20 researchers\u2014approximately one in four applicants. Funding was awarded to researchers studying fields such as smart business, robotics, materials science, machine learning, energy storage, and the circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\nInternational experience for over 260 researchers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
