Last year, Finnish foundations supported science, arts, and civic action with a total of €594 million. In 2024, support for science totaled €327 million, of which €80 million went to social and economic sciences.
The Foundation for Economic Education contributes to the development of Finnish society by providing grants for business research and education, particularly in the fields of business economics. In 2024, our grant activities totaled €5.45 million.

Foundation Day is celebrated annually on October 1 to honor the socially impactful work of foundations and funds across Europe. Foundation Day is coordinated in Finland by European Day of Foundations and Donors.
