The foundations participating in the Foundations’ Post Doc Pool awarded grants on 14 April 2026 to a total of 20 doctoral researchers, amounting to €979,000 for research carried out abroad.

The autumn application round of the Foundations’ Post Doc Pool will be held from 15 August to 15 September 2026, with a total of €1.6 million available for allocation.
The Foundations’ Post Doc Pool for the period 2025–2027 consists of 13 foundations, which have allocated a total of €3.2 million annually to the pool. The following foundations are part of the pool: Ella and Georg Ehrnrooth Foundation, Emil Aaltonen Foundation, Alfred Kordelin Foundation, The Foundation for Economic Education, Päivikki and Sakari Sohlberg Foundation, Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, Finnish Cultural Foundation, Finnish Medical Foundation, Svenska Kulturfonden, Svenska Litteratursällskapet, Foundation for the Advancement of Technology, Jenny and Antti Wihuri Fund, and Ulla Tuominen Foundation.
